Developed by the Centre for Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Services (CERSGIS), this reference dataset supports land use and land cover (LULC) mapping in Ghana’s cocoa production landscapes. It includes over 21,000 geocoded cocoa farm polygons, 20,000 additional land-use reference features, and anonymized household survey data collected using OpenForis Ground, Collect Earth Online, and KoboToolbox. Designed for remote sensing, machine learning, and land-use change analysis, the dataset provides high-quality reference data for improving classification accuracy while not representing legal property boundaries or certification records.
