Some communities are built by an organization.

The best ones are built by people who decide to show up.

WiMLDS Accra is growing, and behind every meetup, workshop, mentorship conversation, research group, and opportunity we create are volunteers who believe women deserve more spaces to learn, connect, build, and lead in Machine Learning and Data Science.

And now, we’re looking for more people to build that future with us. 💙

You do not need to be the most experienced person in the room.

You do not need to know everything about machine learning.

You just need to care about community, be willing to contribute, and bring the skills you already have.

Because growing women in tech takes more than talking about representation.

It takes people willing to do the work that creates the opportunities.

We’re currently welcoming volunteers across:

→ Community Management

Whether you love teaching, organizing, designing, researching, mentoring, creating content, or simply bringing people together, there is a place for you here.

The commitment? About 3 to 5 hours a month.

The potential impact? Much bigger.
