Gendering AI Conference 2026

Gendering AI 2026 is an international conference taking place in Accra, Ghana, from 20–22 October 2026. It explores how AI can be made more inclusive, equitable, and just, using feminist and decolonial perspectives. The conference brings together researchers, policymakers, technologists, activists, innovators, and community voices, with particular emphasis on perspectives from Africa and the Global South. It aims to question the biases and power structures built into AI, while creating space for people to connect, share ideas, challenge existing approaches, and shape more inclusive AI futures.
