After the successful inaugural Ghana AI Summit 2025, Ghana is set to hold the 2nd Ghana AI Summit 2026, from 29th to 30th July, a premier national platform dedicated to celebrating excellence, innovation, and impact in artificial intelligence across Ghana.

The programme runs from 23 June to 21 July 2026 and is delivered as an online, instructor-led training over approximately four weeks. During this period, participants engage in six live sessions alongside guided project work, allowing them to apply concepts in a practical context. Applications are open until 31 May.
Astra Fellowship
This is a full-time, in-person research fellowship based at a Berkeley research centre in the USA, running for approximately five months from September 2026 to February 2027. Applications close on May 3, 2026 (11:59 PM anywhere on Earth).
Africa AI Safety Prize Competition by Centre for AI Security and Access
The programme is organized by the Centre for AI Security and Access (CASA) and takes the form of a competitive call for proposals focused on developing AI safety solutions tailored to African contexts. With a total funding pool of $10,000, it invites research and technical submissions that address real-world challenges. The deadline for submissions is May 3, 2026.
