Ghana AI Summit Awards 2026 Winners Announced at an Impressive Ceremony

Winners were announced at the Ghana AI Summit & Awards, held on 30 July 2026 in Accra, where finalists were recognised for their achievements and contributions to the advancement of artificial intelligence in Ghana.   
  • AI Personality of the Year: Stephen Narh Junior Totimeh, Digi Assist AI Ghana Limited   
  • Best AI for Social Good Award: AiNests
  • Most Promising AI Idea of the Year: Sua Pa AI Technologies
  • Best AI Services Solution Provider: Isaac Kofi Maafo, Digitransact AI
  • Best AI Company of the Year: Npontu Technologies Limited
  • Best AI Innovation of the Year: Npontu Technologies Limited
  • Best AI Public Service of the Year: Matthew Nyaaba, AI4STEM Education Center
  • Best AI Startup of the Year: Africa AI Consult   
The organisers of the Ghana AI Summit, together with Deloitte, congratulate all award winners and commend them for their contributions to advancing Ghana's AI ecosystem.   
In a highly competitive process, the organisers received over 100 applications, which were subsequently shortlisted. The shortlist included individuals, startups, companies, and organisations advancing the development and application of artificial intelligence across Ghana. Award assurance services were provided by Deloitte Ghana. The shortlisted nominees were selected following a competitive review process and represent excellence in AI innovation, entrepreneurship, research, public service, and social impact. The awards celebrate outstanding contributions to Ghana's growing artificial intelligence ecosystem and recognise individuals and organisations developing AI solutions that address real-world challenges while driving economic and social transformation.   
The shortlisted nominees were:

  • Best AI for Social Good Award: Enoch Ansong, Nadia Oppong, Isaac Kobby Ayibor, Moses Samanhyia, Matthew Nyaaba, Stephen Narh Junior Totimeh, AiNests, Agyeman Emmanuel Atta Junior
  • Best AI Startup of the Year: Gideon Asare, Job Sulemana, Kane Mani, Agyeman Emmanuel Atta Junior, AiNests, Stephen Narh Junior Totimeh

Commenting on the awards, Dr. Kwami Ahiabenu, Chair of the Ghana AI Awards, said the quality and diversity of nominations received reflect the growing innovation, talent, and investment shaping Ghana's artificial intelligence ecosystem, adding that the organisers are pleased to offer a platform that supports the growth of AI in Ghana by celebrating the success achieved by the country's fledgling AI sector.
