Women in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) Doctoral Fellowship
Applications are now open for the KAIA Network, which supports women who are currently enrolled in or have been admitted to a PhD programme at an accredited institution in sub-Saharan Africa. Successful applicants will receive a $5,000 grant, as well as mentorship and technical support to advance their research. The application deadline is 31 July 2026.

UK Winter Fellowship 2027, Research Track
Applications are now open for the GovAI UK Winter Fellowship 2027 (Research Track), a fully funded three-month programme in London for aspiring AI governance researchers. Fellows will conduct independent research, receive expert mentorship, and engage with leading policymakers and researchers.
