Biography

Justice Akpadie Jnr is an IBM Certified IT Consultant, Senior Software Engineer, Data Scientist, and AI Specialist with over 14 years of experience driving innovation in Information Technology, Digital Transformation, Corporate Training, and Project Management, positioning him as a multidisciplinary leader in the digital economy. He has served as a National IT Consultant to UNDP Ghana, contributing to impactful digital solutions including the Youth Plus Mobile Application(HIV/AIDs Resource App) Covid 19 Essential Community Health Services Project / Africa HIV HHD project, the Business and Human Rights Web Portal for Ghana (UNPRPD Disability Project) managed by Commission of Human Rights and Administrative Justice, and the SDG Innovations Portal under UNDP Accelerator Lab, which maps grassroots innovations across the country to support sustainable development. He is also a Technical and Strategic Adviser at Smait Maven, Nigeria. In agribusiness and financial inclusion, he served as Lead Consultant for Agribusiness Systems International (ASI) on the AGFIN Project in 2017, promoting mobile money solutions to expand financial access for farmers across agricultural value chains. He currently serves as a UN Global Compact Mentor for the 2026 SDG Innovation Accelerator for Young Professionals, a Futurize Incubator 2026 mentor, a Mastercard Foundation Boab platform mentor, and a VC4A (Venture Capital for Africa) mentor. Justice is a passionate capacity-building and youth development advocate who has trained over 10,000 young people across Ghana since 2018 in ICT, software development, digital marketing, mobile application development, web technologies, and digital entrepreneurship. Through strategic partnerships with the National Youth Authority (NYA) and other development organizations, he has empowered youth with industry-relevant digital skills for employment and entrepreneurship. He has also served as Team Lead Trainer at the Senior Correctional Centre, training correctional officers and inmates in digital marketing, and as a Lead Trainer for the NYA Skills Towards Employability and Productivity (STEP) Project, where he strengthened the capacity of NYA staff to deliver impactful youth skills development programmes nationwide. Beyond technology, Justice has contributed to national policy development and youth advocacy through his participation in the review of Ghana’s National Youth Policy and Ghana Youth Manifesto, providing strategic input on entrepreneurship, skills development, education, gender equality, and digital innovation. In STEM advocacy, he pioneered initiative on 30th January 2017, launching a STEM Challenge for children in Accra under the theme “STEM Education – The Master Plan for Sustainable National Development”, helping to strengthen national conversations around STEM education and innovation. His contributions have earned him notable recognition, including the Ghana Youth Awards – Outstanding Youth Personality of the Year (2021), as well as a nomination for the Tällberg-SNF-Eliasson Global Leadership Prize, reflecting his growing influence in technology, innovation, and sustainable development across Africa.
