Douglas Ayitey

Founder and CEO of The MakersPlace, advancing practical Robotics, AI, coding, and innovation education for schools across Ghana and Africa. I work with school owners, headteachers, and education leaders who want to prepare students for the future through structured, hands on learning programmes that go beyond theory. My work focuses on helping schools build strong pathways in Robotics and AI through programme design, innovation labs, teacher training, project based learning, and competition readiness. The goal is to: move students from exposure to real skills, real projects, and real opportunities. I also lead national and international competition pathways that give learners and schools access to global platforms, stronger visibility, and meaningful outcomes. My mission is to help schools build practical technology education systems that prepare young people to create, compete, and lead.
