Currently serving as Executive Director of Ghana’s Data Protection Commission, I lead national efforts to modernize data governance, strengthen regulatory enforcement, and position Ghana as a trusted digital economy within the AI era. My career spans both sides of the system: 🔹 Builder – I have led the design and scale of mobile lending and digital financial products reaching millions of users across Africa, deploying data-driven credit systems that have facilitated over $2B in disbursements. 🔹 Policy & Governance Leader – I work with regulators, central banks, and multilateral stakeholders to align innovation with privacy, consent frameworks, and digital market integrity. 🔹 Strategic Bridge – My work increasingly focuses on the architecture of financial trust infrastructure — open banking, consent management, AI governance, cross-border data flows, and digital public infrastructure. I am particularly interested in how emerging markets can leverage responsible AI, data portability, and interoperable financial systems to unlock inclusive growth while safeguarding individual rights.
