Emmanuel Akyeam

Emmanuel Akyeam (MSc) is a computer science MPhil candidate at Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) and a regional lead at the Institute of ICT Professionals, Ghana (IIPGH). His research focuses on machine learning and clinical data analytics, with a particular interest in class imbalance challenges in medical prediction systems. His thesis applies five oversampling techniques and eight ensemble learning models to stroke prediction, demonstrating that CatBoost combined with random oversampling achieves a recall of 0.720—making it a strong candidate for early clinical screening. Beyond academia, Emmanuel is a practicing SEO/GEO, digital transformation, AI agent, and automation specialist with international client experience across the US, Australia, and Europe, building AI-integrated digital systems under his consultancy, Manuel Technologies.
